Hi, I recently attempt to a brigde program in GA. I passed one of the nursing course but was unsuccessful in the second course. The policy at this college is that I can not reapply to this school. I still want to get my RN is their anyone who has had this happen to them and what did they do to get your RN.

I've never heard of such practice. They get to keep the money you paid for the classes, and won't allow you to retake the one you failed? Hmmmmmm, something sounds fishy to me!! I wish I had advice to give you, but as I said, I've never heard of such a thing happening before.

Thats pretty harsh. Around here its not uncommon for them to make you repeat the entire program from the start if you fail one class which I think is uncalled for also but you can still re-apply. Are you sure that there isn't just a waiting period or something? This might be a situation to consider excelsior if your state accepts it. Good luck.

My RN program had that rule after 2 class failures, not one. But you should always be allowed to petition a school for readmission. I've never heard of that.
But if that is there policy, maybe you could try an online LPN to RN program. Not the best way to go, but if you don't live near another bridge program it could be an option for you...
