I'm taking Family (OB & Peds) - so DREADING! And a geriatric theory class.

Hi everyone, I'll be taking my sciences all over again since they expire in 5 years...which I didn't know, if I had known that I wouldn't have wasted my afternoons while in high school :lol2: I'll be finished in about 18 months instead of 12 but whats a few months right? :sniff: Could be worse.

Hey, just think you'll probably get all A's though, since you've already had 'em!

No worries. :) I never found lecture to be helpful @ all in anatomy, in fact I rarely went to class during A&P II (and still got an A :D ) - never missed lab though (you DO NOT want t' get behind in there). Anatomy is mostly rote memorization anyway.

Is there a discussion portion to your on-line course you can you use for clarification if you need to?

That is reassuring. I'm good at memorizing.

I wish I could sign a waiver and be exempt from it throughout the rest of my entire nursing edcation and career...lol :rotfl:

This is the last semester at the cc. I'm taking Nursing Throught the Lifespan III, Transitions and for my Hummanities (sp) class the Old Testament. My med surg clinical is everyother Sat 7a-7p and I dread giving up Sat with the family, but come May it will be worth it.

I am a divorced mother of a 7 and 12 year old. I am also the DON of an assisted living facility. I really want to start my nursing in the fall and want all of the prereqs out of the way! I did 5 classes last semester but two of them were 8 week courses so I really only had 4 classes going at once. I may have to drop one or two of these but I am really going to try to finish them!
