Hello. I would like to know what school in Manhattan are you attending. I am currently in the works of relocating to NYC, so any info on LPN schools would be great! Tnx
That's awesome. Were their GPAs very high? Did they have a lot of trouble transferring in their classes?

Besides Helene Fuld the only other one is the school I assume you already go to which is Monroe College.
However you must have one year of LPN experience before applying.

Im not sure what their gpas were. But they had no trouble getting into the program. And all of them afterwards were able to easily transfer their credits from Helene Fuld into a bachelors program. Some of them later got their BSN from Hunter, Pace or Downstate

Hi and thanks for replying. I'm really confused by your reply, though. What made you assume I went to that college
and if I am already there, I'm not sure how a year of LPN experience would be an issue. Sorry if we are speaking of the wrong college. I was just curious if you were speaking of Monroe or Helene Fulde. I wanted to know because I want to steer clear of colleges with a negative reputation as well. Thanks
Sounds great! Transferring seems to be a huge obstacle for nursing classes. Thanks

You edited your post. You said you can't stand your current school so I assumed you were talking about Monroe College since it's in near Manhattan (in the bronx) and you've made other posts concerning Monroe College's nursing program.
The year of LPN experience is for Helene Fuld. I didn't say it would be a problem, I'm just saying that to do their LPN-RN bridge, you need a year of experience working as an LPN.
Oh I do that for privacy, as I didn't think location was a big deal. Do you know which college is better? Monroe or Helene? Any recommendations? Thanks a lot.

I know that Dorthea Hopfer in Mt. Vernon had a program.
The shool is in the Sound Shore medical system.
