Hello! I'm 26 and have been working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the past two and a half years, and currently work at a hospital on the Surgical Unit. I'm currently enrolled for the ASN, just about to end my first year, and once this is completed, I'll go for my BSN.

Hi
My name is Candy and I've just joined up here today! I'm thrilled I've found a spot to gather new friends and hopefully support in my endeavor towards LPN to RN...I'm with Rue ED. and I'm getting ready to test for NC1 on Tuesday. Lots of material and I'm a bit nervous....any suggestions?

Hello Nurses:
I am 30 years old and have been an LPN for 1.5 years. I will begin Summer 2008 starting to take my pre-reqs for the ADN program. I am very excited and can't wait to further my career. I have been at the same ltc facility since I graduated and I want to venture into either surgery or l&d.

Wow! Lots of us in the same boat. I am an LPN, have been for 28 years. wife to Jake for almost 30 years, mother of 6, and two more we have guardianship of, grandmother of 5. I always said I wanted to return to school and finish before I turn 50. Well.....I am graduating from my RN training on June 7th...the day I turn 50! I finally did it! Tough road! My husband is also an RN and our plans after the last of the kids are out, is to do travel nursing and humanitarian trips! I'm excited to get started!

Just wanted to drop a line and let you know I passed Essen. of Reprod. Health to day. I studied and studied for this exam, and believed that I would ace it. I prayed that I would just be able to come out alive. and I did, I got a C. Thanks everyone for you advice.
