I Made It Through

Nursing Students LPN-RN

:balloons: :balloons: We had to take ATI and had to make a 70 on it to be allowed to take boards, I made a 75. Then for our Final was taking HESI I made a 1036 (which came out to a 96%). Was pinned May 10th and Graduated May 13th.

Now I guess I need to change my name since I am no longer a LpntoRNstudent, but an RN. It was so neat after graduation our instructors told us we could call them by there first names now since we were now colleages(so if misspelled).:mortarboard:

Thanks everyone,

Can't wait to take NCLEX. Our instructors just mailed everything 5-12-06, so I don't know when I can take it yet.

Lpnto RN student,

You may not have to wait as long since you have finished in May but it seems the busiest times in Washington State are June when there are a lot of grads. Try to book your test as soon as you can as you can always change your date when it comes closer if you feel you are not ready. I personally feel waiting longer tended to psych some students out and make them more nervous. I was one of the first in my class to take NCLEX and successfully call myself an RN. The scores you got on predictor look really promising. All of my classmates that got over 70 on ATI all passed NCLEX and even some had scored under 70 and they still passed. Our school has a really high pass rate often as high as 100%. We still have a few left to take it. Congratulations it is an awesome feeling. Once you get that license and a job it is even more amazing. My husband was making fun of me when I made my phone calls after passing NCLEX he said I made more calls than when I had my children. I said, "apparently nursing school was harder than childbirth". True in some ways. You know childbirth will end but nursing school seemed to be a long stressful process. But such an awesome feeling when you can accomplish that goal!!!! Definitely worth it.
