Nursing Students LPN-RN
Published Feb 21, 2013
Hi all,
I was wondering if anybody else has applied to Georgia Highland's LPN-RN program that starts in June? I just turned in my application yesterday. I was hoping we could encourage each other and wait for good news together!

thanks for the update nursenicolea...... if we can get a head count of how many people are interested in a study group, that would be great... we can set up a date and time when we meet May 16...

Sounds good to me!!!!
Is anyone taking another class this summer along with NURS 1103? I am considering taking American Lit. this summer. I can't remember where but somewhere on their website, there was something that said that you could take one other class at the same time, but just during summer session.[/quote']Cbear, what makes you want to take American lit? Humanities requirement or just personal interest? Reason I ask is if it's for the humanities requirement.... If you're into literature, then by all means, go for it.. But if you can avoid taking anything else during the next 3 semesters, I'd go that route.... BUT if you're not all into American lit and you need a humanities course, may I suggest Philosophy 2010 at GHC with ***** Im taking that now and it is a really cool class and he is a fantastic teacher. I'll tell you more if you're interested. Otherwise..... I say don't take anything you don't have to!!!

nursenicolea,
Let's just say I had some extra free time this semester. All I had to take was Micro, and I hate to waste time, so I started on BSN pre-reqs, lol. I took Statistics and English Comp II this semester, and I want to take one thing this summer online along with the bridge. The things that I still need to take are Sociology, Organic Chem, World History, or a Literature course, but I don't want to take anything too hard over the summer. I just want to keep plugging along, and I figured since they put on the nursing website that you can take something else at the same time that it must be do-able (I hope).
Understood.
