Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody else has applied to Georgia Highland's LPN-RN program that starts in June? I just turned in my application yesterday. I was hoping we could encourage each other and wait for good news together!

I am not sure... I hope we stay in Marietta campus! But that will be a good question to ask....BTW, Does anyone know what book we will need for Nur1103? I want to go ahead and get my book.... I want to start studying now....

I received my acceptance letter to Georgia Higlands earlier this month. I will be attending the Marietta/Wellstar campus

Awesome ladies! We have a solid little Marietta group going now. Nursenicolea, did you find out anything about whether we get to stay in Marietta for the duration of the program?

I'm down. I went ahead and ordered a few dosage calculations books a couple of weeks ago, so I could go ahead and start brushing up for the drug calc. test that we're supposed to have right off the bat.

Yes ma'am! (sorry it takes a while for me to post on here). I called and spoke to a lady named Barbara, she said we DO stay in Marietta for the whole program, and if I'm not mistaken, she said clinicals are in Marietta as well! Also, on GHC's bookstore website the book list is there!!, If you go to the bookstore under the Quicklinks drop down menu on the left side of the page, then click on 'find your textbooks', select summer 2013 term, then select "WEL" under division.... The rest pops up. I don't know which we need now or whatever, but they're all listed :) It sure does look like we have a lil' Marietta group going! I'm totally game for study groups! I hope more join this forum and find us!! This is exciting!!

Is anyone taking another class this summer along with NURS 1103? I am considering taking American Lit. this summer. I can't remember where, but somewhere on their website, there was something that said that you could take one other class at the same time, but just during summer session.

I personally wouldnt do it but if you can handle it then go for it.
