Hello all....

I was curious, does anyone know of any Lpn programs that are 1 year Fulltime and begin in either dec/jan?

Id prefer them to be in the NY/NJ/PA area (or florida)...however if the cost is cheap Im willing to go just about anywhere-

Im going to the informational meeting at Lincoln Tech next week, however I absolutely hate that they play games about the information. I simply asked when does the program start? and all they reply with is...go to the informational session.....its 22k for a year....just answer the freakin questions...lol.

Anyhow, Im doin google searches left & right, and information is slim at best.

Im open to any type of program as long as its under a year or there abouts...no 18 month courses please.

Boces/voc schools/community colleges etc etc.

Thank you in advance for any information.

CONGRATS!!!!!

I'm not graduating until 2011:(

I finished a med assist program in July (the classes all transferred over to LPN) ad so I have just clinicals and a few classes left to take. The instructors for LPn are not the same as I had for MA so Im anxious to find out how everything goes. I start the full-time day session Oct.25th. I'm glad to hear Ramsey accepts grants tho because I may very well attend Ramsey for the LPN-Rn bridge program.

thank you! i passed the teas test and have to go tomorrow to do the registration and application process. they told me i could get in the sept 27th program. the tuition is now 22k and i rec'd a letter from the state saying the hackensack school doesnt participate in state grants but that wont effect financial and institutional ones. however the ramsey school accepts them which i just dont understand. how was the school when you went? the instructors, classes etc.? how are their job placement? did you get a job right from graduation?

Congratulations on passing the Teas test. How was it I went there today to take the Entrance exam and Passed in the high 90's :yeah: now I just have to schedule the Teas im so nervous. I was told that they accept Pell and Loans...

scorpio- congrats for completing ma! i plan to take the lpn to rn bridge class also. hackensack said in a yr or two they might actually have it there as well as ramsey. right now im just fretting how much this will actually cost me.

bklyn- ty! the practice test was actually harder then the real one! they said each test was different but mine was pretty easy. well the reading and english were and the math was a little more difficult. theres metric conversion, some geometry and algebra. the test is about 3 hours and is timed. they also dont give you your test results till 24-48 hours later. you have to register on the atitesting.com site before you take it and they block your results from viewing it. mine are still blocked for some reason. i know they def accept pell and loans but i'm just worried about paying all this off. the course is over 21k and thats a lot of money. dont stress the test. if you scored in the high 90s you will have no problem!!

Dear member.

I've been attending one in NJ 910 Bergen Ave. Jersey city. Its not a bad one and the next program begins early January. You can google and apply on line @ http://www.metropolitanlearninginstitute.com. I guess this is the website. However, the fee is 18k and ofcourse add books and other +++. Theres ready fafsa loans and financial aid of course if you qualify. No big deal. Im going for HESI exit exams on 9/24. Its a moderate school. Wish me luck then. Thanx and good luck to your efforts.
