  1. I thought online nursing programs didnt exist... do you all just mean RN to BSN? I know they offer them
  2. I took A&P through cayuga community college which is a SUNY school....and I did it online......however on my transcripts it just shows that I took the class....doesnt say it was online.......so its just another SUNY community college class, and it is looked upon as the same as every other one. All done online, with lab....with a final proctored exam.. I found it to be harder then a classroom class however, because reading discussion posts takes WAY longer then sitting in a classroom and listening...
  3. I asked them.....they wouldnt tell me... I guess I will look at volunteering, I just applied for a nurses aid position but havent heard anything for about a week.
  4. Just trying to get an overall consensus - what nursing textbook are you using? I am trying to get my ducks in a row, and even though I dont start a RN program until August next year, Id like to get my text books now if possible, since I see textbooks on ebay for like 5-10 bucks, and during the beginning of a semster they jump way up in price. So...nursing textbooks....whats everyone using...? Thanks in advance.
  5. Thanks paddy cake- Entering Class July 2010 $10,796.00 Entering Class January 2011 $11,069.00 thats not horrible......
  6. ooh...saint lukes eh-? I like that, that sounds perfect. Anyothers?
  7. pre's done.... night program? like part-time? or fulltime
  8. Anyone know of any programs that start in the dec/jan months? Im finding alot of programs say.....go to a info session and they tell you everything.... Im not interested in spending 3 hours in a info session if the courses dont start when I need them to start Thanks in advance.
  9. Im looking for full-time. Cost isn't really a factor, time however is. I plan to stop working completely, (as to focus on school) so the shorter the duration, the better for me. Ill look at PIT...thanks Any others?
  10. Hello all.... I was curious, does anyone know of any Lpn programs that are 1 year Fulltime and begin in either dec/jan? Id prefer them to be in the NY/NJ/PA area (or florida)...however if the cost is cheap Im willing to go just about anywhere- Im going to the informational meeting at Lincoln Tech next week, however I absolutely hate that they play games about the information. I simply asked when does the program start? and all they reply with is...go to the informational session.....its 22k for a year....just answer the freakin questions...lol. Anyhow, Im doin google searches left & right, and information is slim at best. Im open to any type of program as long as its under a year or there abouts...no 18 month courses please. Boces/voc schools/community colleges etc etc. Thank you in advance for any information.
