Depending where in bc you want to live, apply with one of the major health authorities - provincial, Fraser health, Vancouver Coastal Health, island or interiour health. They all have postings online that you can review

Nurses are not in great demand as they were years ago, you need to decide where in Canada you want to live and work, sort out Nurse Registration and then look for employment

Because there is no shortage of nurses in Canada, no employer will be in a position to "invite you" to Canada.

Actually there are shortages of nurses, where I used to be anyways. The fact is that current immigration system and the healthcare system/ facilities are not able to invite/sponsor nurses as they were able to in the past. You can't say there are no shortage of nurses in Canada because it's a very generalized statement. Clearly the statistics say something else. For instance, in BC most big hospital ERs they have at least 4-5 positions unfilled and are resorted to using agency nurses.
If you have the right experience, length of visa and the Canadian license, lots of places in BC will be ready to hire you in a heartbeat
I do agree LPN jobs are not in demand as they used to be, but in general nurses are in demand

Employers have to provide evidence that there isn't a single nurse in Canada willing to work for them before they go offshore.
Declining government funding explains unfilled lines. The longer the line is unfilled money is saved by not paying benefits and pensions.
Do you agree that LPNs are nurses?
BC is also a very expensive place to live and work. I grew up there, lived there most of my life. I know that we can't afford to live in the City I grew up in and have the same lifestyle that I do where we live now. People take that into consideration when looking at where to relocate for work.
