UofP is EXPENSIVE! If there are no other options, why not do just LPN to RN on line through UoP and then do a RN to BSN online through a cheaper option? Also, have you looked at your area community colleges? Many are starting to incorporate on line classes into their RN curriculum. Finally, for prerequisites, even if you are going to University of Phoenix or some other 4 year university, community colleges can't be beat in terms of pricing and class time availability. Many CCs offer classes at night or on weekends. Some offer on line classes.

http://www.edukan.org is a consortium of Kansas Community Colleges that offer some classes online. Most of your nursing prereqs are covered there. Much less expensive than university of phoenix and most universities.

CCCOnline offers a bunch of BSN pre-req classes, and with the COF fund you get a tuition discount being a colorado residence.

For just a little additional information, I did my LPN-RN mostly on-line through Pratt CC in Kansas. I say mostly because, of course, there were clinicals. Otherwise everything was on line.

I'm doing my RN-BSN right now through Fort Hays State University. There are students from all over the country in my class. I suspect it is very reasonably priced, particularly in comparison to some of the private nursing schools. Their website is http://www.fhsu.edu
