I'm rather interested myself. I've been taking classes toward an RN degree for so long now and I move and have to change schools and blah blah. Sick of it. Was hoping to just find something I could finish up online and take a clinical weekend like the college network does. I came across an LPN to BSN bridge (may have been Indiana university, not sure) but when I looked at the states that it was accepted in, none of the states I want it for were accepted except for Pennsylvania (my home state). So I guess it's not really worth it if I can't use the degree to become licensed. I'll take anything online at this point..I just don't like the looks of the college network.

I live in Phoenix Metro and Arizona State has an ABSN program for those with a previous bachelor's degree. I'm currently enrolled in a LPN program and asked if I could enroll in that ABSN program if I'm already a LPN. The answer is YES! As long as I don't have a RN license, I can apply. I don't know if that helps you at all, but it's one option I found for LPN to BSN.
PS The College Network is NOT a school. It's a scam that sells overpriced study guides for Excelsior College exams. Excelsior College is legit. But just search The College Network here on AN and you'll see lots of threads. Your instincts are good....stay away!

stay away from the college network ! Indiana state and excelsior each have bridge programs, and many schools now offer it. Look into your area and see if they have bridge programs. Check your state requirements for excelsior though, some do not accept it.

I am planning on moving to Phoenix, Arizona and would like to enroll in their LPN to BSN, can you tell me what school and where it is and how I can obtain the information on the program.

If you are talking about the for profit University of Phoenix, I would advise you against that. First, its extremely expensive. Second, it has a very bad graduation rate. Third, there are hospitals (like the once I used to work for ) that would not accept online BSNs for positions that required it. Your best bet is to enter a non profit college or university as a non traditional student (this is the route I went) or find an LPN -RN bridge program and then complete your BSN later.
If you're referring to my post above, I was talking about the ABSN program at Arizona State University. You must have a previous bachelor's degree, which I do, so I checked into whether I could apply for that program if I were already a LPN. It's not a LPN-BSN program.

I looked into the LPN-to-BSN programs in my area and online, but they required too many prerequisite courses for it to be worth it to me.

Stay away from the College Network. They are not a school. Find an LPN to RN Bridge program and once you have your RN, look into your BSN
