Hello!
I would like to start a thread for prospective LCC LPN2RN 2019-2020 elearning students.
I just applied earlier this week. Planning on taking my Kaplan Transitions around the beginning of July.
I've already taken my TEAS exam and scored 82%.
Keep me posted!
Anyone know how the two test scores are looked at? Are they combined or is it something along the lines of whoever got the highest on both tests? Didn't do as well on the TEAS as I had hoped. I'm determining whether or not I should even take the Kaplan on the 25th. On the website it says that applicants are selected based on total points on the nursing admission exams. SO I'm assuming it means they add the two??♀️ thoughts please!?

please don’t skip your next step. As much as I would like to decrease the applicant pool for my self ?. Don’t short yourself. Take the test so you don’t eliminate yourself from the opportunity.
I don’t know how they decide. And I hate that it all comes down to standardized tests.
But please complete the process !

Hey all! Best of luck, I inquired and there are officially 198 applicants and 40 online spots. (And 5 I think will be able to join the campus cohort).
I tested yesterday and got 82.7% on TEAs and 71% on Kaplan.
Those of you who who have taken the tests- what scores are you all getting? I was told the Kaplan average is mid 70s and TEAS is high 70s to low 80s. Praying it’s enough but feeling pretty defeated to be honest ?

Did Bev tell you this information? I thought it was 45 online, 10 campus.
I got a 79% on TEAS, 84% on Kaplan. I’m hoping it’s good enough too and pretty nervous to hear back. I’d love to hear what everyone else got once they’re done testing as well!
Maybe it’s 10 now- they need to increase the online spots! I’m for sure on the 40 for that but could have changed on the 5 cohort. Bev confirmed the total applicants at 198 yesterday and said traditionally students accepted got mid 70s on Kaplan and high 70s to low 80s on TEAS.
My friend was in the last program and said he got 82.7 on TEAs and low 70s on Kaplan and was offered cohort (but didn’t make online). I figure it can vary depending on the group and how many there are and how well they all do. Your scores are great!

Np2112: same here! Good luck on the transitions tomorrow. What did you use to study for that? Also how did you do on your TEAS?
