Hello!
I would like to start a thread for prospective LCC LPN2RN 2019-2020 elearning students.
I just applied earlier this week. Planning on taking my Kaplan Transitions around the beginning of July.
I've already taken my TEAS exam and scored 82%.
Keep me posted!
Keri_Price: Thank you for sharing the information on the campus LPN to RN bridge. I also checked that I am interested in being considered for it and was wondering what the schedule would look like. Im taking my TEAS on July 12th at TCC and the Kaplan on the 25th at LCC. Good luck!
NurseBritt1 and Nursebarcena: Great scores! I took the TEAS back in 2017 without studying and got 74.7. Im definitely studying this time around. I work with two people who got in last year to the elearning. One had a 82 and the other had a 79.7. From what I was told, 79 was the lowest they took last year. for TEAS, however, it changes year to year based on the scores they get I assume. I even know of someone who made it in a few years ago with a 72 on their TEAS. I keep pushing my date out to take my TEAS. Sadly I remember nothing from the math and science sections. I know that knowing formulas, fractions, and conversions is needed for math and science is everything.?♀️ Maybe you ladies would be willing to shed some lights on the must knows topics. Of course I completely understand if you don't.lol
Good luck to everyone!
Nursebarcena: I bought those as well with the e book! Other than that I also downloaded the mastery app on my phone.
nurseuhlisuh: I found that the book from ATI was a good resource for me. It has a general overview of everything that may be on the test without going in too much detail. Good luck to you ? I hope everyone does great!

Dani—- those are great stores!! Definitely raising the curve for the rest of us. Hope to get to know you when we are in the program ?.
khan academy has been great! Teaching videos on all subjects.

Thank you! I did pocket prep for the TEAS and I was really just winging all of it. I’m hoping they send the notice letters sooner rather then later. It seems like August doesn’t give us a lot of time to be ready for a September start.

I had heard from others to do like NCLEX prep. I did three 10 question practice tests from pocket prep NCLEX-PN on the drive down (my friend read me the questions), but that was it. It was pretty similar to NCLEX for me.

Just the elearning. I work full time and have a family so I don’t think going to class every day is an option right now.
Plus the commute is pretty long for me

NurseBritt1: Thank you! I’m really hoping it’s good enough. And good luck to you too!
What materials are you using to study for Kaplan? I purchased the online NCLEX-PN Qbank & eBook and have been using random Quizlets I’ve found online.
