Hello!
I would like to start a thread for prospective LCC LPN2RN 2019-2020 elearning students.
I just applied earlier this week. Planning on taking my Kaplan Transitions around the beginning of July.
I've already taken my TEAS exam and scored 82%.
Keep me posted!
I realize this is a bit after the fact, but for future applicants, here you go...
Hi Everyone! I also applied to the Fall 2019-20 LPN to RN program, and took the TEAS and Kaplan Transitional tests.
For those that need to know what study material to use for Transitional RN test, here is what I wished I had before taking the exam!
After scheduling your Kaplan Transitional exam, look for an e-mail, from Kaplan registering your email. After that, you will have access to a digital copy of the Transitional RN was exam.
I attached pics! NCLEX LPN wasn’t good advice!
I’d like to say that I aced it, but I did not! I doubt I will get in.
What frustrates me is that the material was right there, waiting, and I didn’t know that you needed to look for an e-mail, and create a Kaplan acct , until I checked in for the exam. “They” let you know that you need to do so for the TEAS test.
Im not perfect, and nor is my memory, hence the reason I wanted to know what the best study material was for the exam. I mean, I took the LPN NCLEX a while ago! I just don’t understand how the program did not know about this! It’s not the fact that I did poorly on the exam, it’s because it could have been prevented. It’s so disappointing!
Kudos to all those who rocked the exams!!
Hi everyone! I just wanted to let everyone in the loop. I received a call from Tamara Norton yesterday. Has anyone else received such a call? I was borderline into making it into the online program, so I was offered the in-class cohort instead and I accepted it. She stated that they would be finished with the selection yesterday and letters would be mailed out today. To give everyone an idea, I scored an 84% on the teas test and 71% on the Kaplan, I had a 3.0 gpa in supporting courses. I studied for 4 days for the teas test and didn’t study at all for the Kaplan, hence my grade lol. I hope this helps ease the anxiety for some. Good luck!
