i wrote to allheart asking where my order was. i received the "form" letter, copied below. i am very disturbed that a vendor would not inform customers of what should be a known delay, either before the purchase or after the purchase. i've let them know that they have lost my trust, my confidence, in them as a vendor. you should be aware of this, as well:
hello,
unfortunately, your order was received in the middle of our stop ship period, as we are in the process of relocating our warehouse out of california into ohio. today is the first day that we have begun to ship and we expect to be caught up and back to normal by friday 10/22/04.
you will receive an email from our shipping carrier (dhl) with tracking details once your package has actually left our facility.
we apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused and we thank you for your patience.
please advise on how you would like us to proceed.
please let me know if i can assist you further.
best regards,
allheart

Do a search on 'search threads' and you'll find plenty of posts about ALLheart's 'customer service'.
Ooooopssss....I thought I read October 2003, but it was October 2004 in the previous thread.

I posted the samething here about 2 weeks ago. I placed my order in early Oct. and also added the personalized option and now they are saying to expect it in about 2-3 more weeks.
This post provides a letter from allheart, in October of 2003, which indicates that delays in orders are due to their warehouse being moved to Ohio.https://allnurses.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80896&highlight=allheartThis is even more disturbing...no wonder they advertise so much; they have to keep finding new customers...

I ordered from Dickies on Monday and the package arrived today.
Perhaps the secy of commerce for Ca and Ohio might be interested in business practices?

same thing happened to me...got same letter, and let them know that I was very disappointed in them, that it wasn't good customer service and that they should have posted it on their website! I had ordered from them before without problem, but this made me mad
Thank you, that is what I told them. Their reply was that this new warehouse would have "state of the art equipment and they could serve me better in the future".
doesn't change the fact that they should have warned those who were placing orders during this "stop ship" time! I would have still placed my order...but it makes me mad that they didn't warn them

I had a problem with Allheart way before this. I ordered shoes from them over a year ago, it took almost 2 months to get them! :angryfire I won't order from them again. Other companies have much better customer service than this.

I've only ordered once from them, and it arrived in about 2 weeks time, but after reading thread after thread on here about their total lack of customer service, no way will I order from them again. There are too many others that deliver and have great customer service.
