Hello! I am started this thread to if there are others who plan on applying to Los Medanos. ?

Thank you for the update. Her response is very vague, which scares me a little. Other programs seem to be clear about moving forward this Fall or deferring admissions back. I’m not sure how long they can keep waiting considering some applicants still need to take their TEAS. ?

Yikes. Looks like LMC is postponing the next nursing class to 2021, but will continue with the application process for this year. Around June 22 is when people will find out if they’ve moved on to phase 2. ?

Check you personal emails. The dean sent an email stating that fall 2020 round will be deferred to fall 2021. So no applicants this fall

Super disappointing news because for those of us who do not get in this year can't even apply next year, yet have to wait a whole other entire year (2022). I know we have all worked so hard to get to this point. Best of luck to all of you.

I know that you applied to LVN to RN transition but did you apply to the regular RN program as well? The email was sent to the traditional RN applicants. It was sent to both personal email and InSite email.

Oh, I did not apply to the regular RN program. I hope the bridge will still carry on ?

It will. I emailed the dean immediately after he sent out the email about deferring. He says the LVN to RN transition will continue as planned for this fall and we’ll receive a separate email “shortly.” He didn’t give an exact date of notification for Phase 2 but I’m assuming it’s June 22nd as well.

I have just received an email said on June 22 we will know if we get into phase 2. This is for lvn- RN application.
