Anyone out there applying/applied to Los Medanos for Fall 2019??? If so, with how many points since it's not lottery anymore?
It’s by order of points. The 32nd person will receive a call if any of the selected 31 deny the offer or don’t pass drug test, background or don’t respond on time. They will continue to move down the list until they fill all spots. They could call you the week before and ask if you’re still interested.
Yeah to me it seems unfair to have your ID # listed twice? Because then someone else doesn’t get a chance and now that person gets two. Hmmm. Just my thought. I’d think you’d have to pick one or the other cause that’s how it usually is for other schools.
I’m an alternate. My ID # was third on the list so I’m wondering if that’s in order of points or if it was random? I think if we don’t get picked then we will just have to reapply next time around. But let me attach an email I received from the head who mentioned what happens to the alternate list. (Attached)
I was hoping when we received our alternate email it would include what number we are on the list so we could know if we’d be called in sooner or later.
any alternate people here got a call today? Today at 12pm is the last day for people who got accepted to turn in their acceptance form. Also are the alternate list on lmc website in order based on points or just random? The letter I got for alternate doesn’t say what number I am on the alternate list so idk ? . Now I’m just waiting, hopefully not too long.

The teas is nerve wracking, but as long as you study you should be fine. Some tips I have are:
1. Do the math questions on the ATI TEAS study module. It’s really similar to the questions on the actual test
2. purchase the practice tests from ATI. These helped me a lot since I already had an idea how the actual TEAS was going to be.
3. Time yourself when you are going through the practice test. Since on the actual TEAS is timed
4. I am not sure if they changed it but on my test they had a lot of questions on the endocrine system.
I hope this helps. Good luck! Hope I see you on August when my class welcomes the new cohort ?
