I’m not sure if you saw my post awhile back but the head of nursing admissions told me that for the past 3 year in a row they’ve gone through ALL of the alternates. I think we have a good shot

For my first post, I wanted to thank Nurmimi87 for starting this thread on January 17, 2019.

I ran across allnurses while preparing for the LMC administered TEAS VI on June 12, 2019, but only found a thread for 2018 at that time and not 2019.

I picked up my LMC Fall 2019 RN Program Admissions Packet this past Monday and was wondering if anybody has gone through the packet and started working through all of the requirements?

On another note, I second Jordelorde in saying if you are on the alternate list your chances of getting in are great as I believe it was BethAnn who said prior to administering the TEAS VI that they had gone through the entire Alternate for Fall 2018 and even admitted an alternate after classes had started so keep believing!

So again, congratulations to all those making it through the LMC RN Program Phase II Accepted and Alternate lists.

I went through VerifyStudents.com by CorporateScreening.com for the Background Check, Drug Screening Test, and ImmuniTrax Process (BG / DS / IMM) and received this "An error has occurred with search preparation. Please try again later or contact Corporate Screening."

I called their Corporate Headquarters at 800-229-8606 and left a voicemail so hopefully, I will hear back in the next day or so.

Did anybody else experience any problems with the website?

I just checked my email and saw that VerifyStudents.com by CorporateScreening.com sent an email which I have attached which listed contact information for Client Support at 800-229-8606 or email at [email protected] so I just sent them an email explaining the error.

VerifyStudents.com by CorporateScreening.com were really helpful and responsive in resolving this issue within 12 hours of my support request email so if for some reasons you have any issues, website or otherwise going through this process it looks like they will be resolved quickly.

Incidentally, I had my drug screening test and the whole process took about two hours mostly due to waiting even though I got there quite early at 8:00 AM especially since drug screening test do not start until 9:00 AM so plan on blocking extra time.

This drug screening was quite a bit more formal following federal guidelines than one I had for employment a few years ago where you are asked to acknowledge, initial and sign your name at various steps, assets and forms which takes you back a bit while it is going on, but all in all everything went smoothly if you blocked out enough time.

Hey guys just wanted to see if any alternates have been contacts? Also when is your guys’ drug packets & backgrounds due so we can have an idea of when we may be contacted if people don’t meet the deadline/ don’t pass.

In reply to Jordelorde I have attached the cover letter (contact information redacted) from the welcome packet which lists the many documents and deadlines that are coming up in August 2019 which I hope helps out everyone and again congratulations to all the acceptees and good luck to all the alternates.

Same here and I’m #3 on the list so I’m thinking most likely they haven’t reached out to any alternates yet.

The waiting is agonizing... BUT I still have hope for all of us on the alternative list. As mentioned before Admin themselves have stated, they have gone completely through the alternate list the past 2 years.. There is definitely hope!

Are any of you doing a CPR class or a physical completed even being on the alternate list?
