Los Medanos for Fall 2011?

For those who applied to Contra Costa - they posted the lottery results. If I was not mistaken, I was told there's only 23 spots! I called and the lovely Ms. Diane Hall answered and was able to check me on the list. So if you applied to Contra Costa, you can check for the results!

I have applied to Los Medanos, Contra Costa and College or Marin. I would have applied to Merritt but the stories and some friends' experiences were sufficient deterrent. The waiting is as bad, if not worse, than the first time through college, since it puts planning future events very much on hold. I think LMC has one of the later lotteries. As a slightly older first-year-to-be, it would bs nice to know what's next.

I did hear back from Merritt. They sent a letter saying that I am "eligible," and that I would have to take the TEAS test or submit scores.

I have been in the lottery since 2007 and I have never seen LMC post online.

They don't post online; they just post the numbers on the door to the nursing department and then mail out the letters. I'm thinking they will probably be posted May 31st or June 1st, just a guess based on how it's typically done which is the week following finals. We have our last nursing final on May 25th. Good luck!!

Congratulations on getting in to Merritt. If you get picked for LMC will you accept LMC or Merritt. It would be nice to have the choice.

Am looking forward to LMC. So far I am low on the list at both College of Marin and CCC. :no: :banghead:

I was quite disappointed with the CCC result, thinking for some irrational reason that it would be more favorable. My understanding about LMC is that it will not select until the last week of May. I will be out of town part of that time and will hope to return to a most pleasant surprise...

One of my classmates got into Contra Costa as well. She was so excited. She tried to get into our school (CSUEB) but she did not get in. Well, we have a few more weeks of waiting:uhoh3:
