Good luck to you! I think 55 is pretty competitive! I applied Friday with 50 points. I hope it's enough to make it to phase 2 as well! 🙏🏻

Yay, that's great! I was reading some old forums, and the lowest score I came across was 45 points. Who knows, though—it seems like programs have been competitive, but maybe not as much as before since so many people are now going the private route and completing most of their schooling online. Los Medanos is my first choice since I'm in Oakley, but I also applied to CSUEB. Have you applied anywhere else yet? @MamaW

Oh that's great! I've read some forums on here as well and only saw as low as 50 so that's exciting to hear you've saw 45. Gonna be a long 5 months waiting! LOL. LMC is my first choice too! I have to take chemistry again before I can apply to CSUEB since I took it so long ago so I'm taking that this Spring and gonna apply to the concord campus in August.

Hi all! I applied with 50 pts and am also really hoping it's enough to make it through phase 1. I've also applied to CSUEB for fall (I got waitlisted for Spring and never made it off the list) and CCC. LMC is where I've done all my coursework and is closest to my house so would be ideal, but honestly I'll be happy to get in ANYWHERE!! Good luck everyone!!

I have, I got an 87 when I took it in August, I'm thinking I might retake it. I underestimated the amount of non A&P questions that would be on the science portion LOL! Have you taken it?

hi, does anyone know if they accept courses taken at other colleges? my trasncript evaluation hasn't been done but I have sent the transcripts over. I took stats here but I retook it so I can get an A at another college. I have emailed them multiple times but havent heard back

They will accept courses from another accredited college 🙂 I'm pretty sure I read they won't evaluate foreign transcripts but otherwise you should be good! Just submit to admissions and records before the deadline. Good luck to you!

That's great! I got an 85.4% I got so much chem and micro I wasn't expecting. I don't want to take it again it was so long!! LOL

@Tara.M OMG me too! I made a poor judgement call and focused more on A&P material while studying and should have spent more time on chemistry basics because I really struggled. If I get invited to phase 2 I'll probably take it to optimize the amount of points I get.
I'm not sure how close the numbers are in terms of admission vs rejection. Do you happen to know if there's any info out there on the average # of points for those who are admitted? I haven't come across anything.

Does anyone know when classes are? I haven't been able to get a clear answer on this. I currently work M-F 8-2:30 so I'm wondering if they offer day and night classes but no one seems to know
