Hey! First semester classes were Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tuesday - 8am we had skills lecture followed by skills lab till 11:10am if you were in the first group--because they split the class, half stays after skills lecture and then has a break and the other half has a break and comes back for skills lab at 11:40--then after lab at 1:40pm we had our fundamentals lecture till 3:45pm.
Wednesday- 9am we have another fundamentals lecture until 11:05am and right after we had our pharmacology class until 12:20pm.
Thursday and Friday are clinical days. The first semester, the first 3 weeks, you won't go to clinical; you will go on campus to different lectures and skills labs from 9am-around 3pm, with a 30-minute lunch . Also, the first 3 weeks on Tuesdays, they won't split the class, so you'll only have a 30-minute lunch break between lab and fundamentals. (it's confusing but they will give you a schedule for those first 3 weeks)
However, after the first 3 weeks you are on the set schedule I mentioned above for Tuesday and Wednesday. And Thurs/Fri you will go to clinical, in the AM or PM depending on what you get. Clinical for AM is 6:30 am -3 pm and for PM it's 2:30-11pm. There were 2 AM shifts and 1 PM. PM was only at kaiser antioch. There was AM for kaiser antioch and john muir WC. Also, we did our geriatric rotation, 2-3 people from each clinical group would rotate for 3 weeks each, and that was in the AM.
I don't know if it will be different for Fall 2025, but that was how my schedule was last semester. Hope this helps, I remember when I was applying, I couldn't find anything on the schedule 🙂
Hi everyone! I'm wondering if anyone else here got in another program but is holding out for LMC? I'm seriously struggling with what to do, I got in to East Bay (Hayward) but live in Antioch. I figured I'd accept there then give up my spot if I get in at LMC but by the time we hear from LMC the mandatory nursing orientation will have passed and documentation deadlines as well. I just don't want to take a spot in the orientation at East Bay then be all like "jk I'm going somewhere else". Am I overthinking it? I would love to hear some thoughts on it, thanks!

We're in the same boat! I am just going to take the seat and back out if I get into LMC. I have no shame considering LMC has the concurrent program with CSUEB I am sure they are used to people backing out.
Hi there! I'm in the process of gathering info to apply for LMC. Looking at phase one criteria such as "first generation college student" "difficult family situation" "foreign langeage proficiency" there are essay sheets to describe them. Will they do anything to verify what you claim? I'm curious 😅
Thank you!
