  1. Facebook New Grad Bay Area group, about 3 people have received a call back for interview. Some received screening call and some didn't.
  2. hi, does anyone have insight on the differences between CSUEB and SFSU beyond just the location or length of the program? If you chose East Bay, what helped you make that decision?

  4. hello, currently in the same dilemma and saw you chose SF. are you able to give any feedback, how are you liking it so far? I am wondering if the program will be harder since theres no dedicated pharm/patho class.
  5. Their NCLEX for the past years have been higher for SJSU. Although, last year SJSU has a 99% and East Bay had 98% so pretty similar. I also looked at Sem 1 schedules and I think I prefer SJSU but they are almost similar. Also the social scene seems to be better. I think they both use great clinical sites though. EB uses Stanford, Kaiser, Fremond Hospital, Washington and John Muir. I did hear SJSU going through faculty changes but I am not sure if thats still the case.
  6. I am also trying to decide between the two. I am closer to east bay, I live in concord and plan to work in the east bay after I graduate but from what I have heard it looks like sjsu is a better school? I am worried about networking since clinicals are only in south bay for SJSU and I am interested working closer to where I live. didn't think I would get accepted so I committed to East Bay but now I am not sure what to do, I would also have to figure out housing for SJSU ?
  7. just got my acceptance so I think they are rolling out now!
  8. prereq GPA is a 4.0 and my cumulative is a 3.7 TEAS 94.7 140 volunteer hours at john muir health and 500 hours as a Medical Assistant and I am bilingual! I did withdraw from anatomy and micro my first semester and also retook stats and public speaking to get an A which I first got a C and B in so it wasn't a perfect path ? I took an extra year to retake these after realizing how competitive california nursing programs are and I honestly though my overall GPA was going to be the reason to not get accepted but thank you to everyone! ❤️
  9. has anybody received this update? I havent received any emails though ?
  10. Mine also changed to Nursing Applicant. Wonder if we will be hearing back this week.
  11. Hi, here you go! I also applied to lmc and it sucks that they release them so late, I just received my phase 1 score breakdown. If all goes well with east bay I will accept my seat but I will continue to see if LMC sends out acceptance. My only thing with LMC is the trouble many new grads are having finding jobs and securing residency program spots ? I feel like it would maybe be easier with a BSN program but still almost just as hard so I am still not on what I would do. As long as one program accepts me hopefully LOL
  12. someone on reddit said they received a rejection letter so I think now they are just narrowing it down and focusing on personal statements
  13. How did you go about this? Is there a specific website you used? I haven't submitted it so I think I have time
