Los Angeles County School of Nursing Fall 2017

Hey, is there anyone who applied for Fall 2017 admission to LA County? Have you guys heard any news? has anyone called you? What are your thoughts?

It's not lottery... I am not to sure how many people the chose because people defer semesters so they acomidate them and then they choose new students

I'm so anxious to know already.. the lady I spoke with really made it seem like things are going to be positive for me. I don't wanna call her today bc I called her a lot already lol but she was very nice and didn't seemed annoyed at all by my phone calls

Just own it and have faith ... good things will happen if u have faith

I love it!!! It's hard but possible alot of work but with a good group u will be fine ... like jessflo said u will meet ur best friends for life in school... I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without my group.

If you don't mind me asking, do you work? If so, how many hours a week?

I do work I usually do 12 to 24 hrs a week ... I work graveyard so I had time to study but it was hard working and going to school ... I work it the medical field so it was good that everyone was so supportive and gave me advice but that did leave me with 1 day a week off which is not too much

Are you going to work until the end? I'm curious because I work 25 hours a week at my job, so I'm wondering how that's going to work out.

I am gonna cut down my hrs work maybe once a week ... I was pushing it doing 2 days a week and I don't what the reason I do not pass to be work

I didn't count how many people were there, but there was probably 5-10 people who didn't sign in so I'm guessing they are no-shows.
