Hey, is there anyone who applied for Fall 2017 admission to LA County? Have you guys heard any news? has anyone called you? What are your thoughts?

I heard from them. I'm on the waiting list due solely to the fact that my transcript arrived late and I should email them june 28th to get the final decision.that's what they called me about before.

I spoke with someone with a very thick accent and it's very frustrating to not get an answer today. Sometimes I've called, ask to speak with the person and they just hang up.. I don't understand

I think I'm just gonna wait..I mean, I'm just glad they haven't rejected me yet...

Now they are using every excuse in the book to reject people. One of my transcripts arrived 1 day late and even though they had said it was going to be okay at the beginning, now they are saying I am on a "waiting" list because of that. I need to wait and see if other applicants with the same amount of points do not accept their place in the program for them to consider my INCOMPLETE application. How frustrating! So now my question is, where do you guys think I can retake Anatomy? I need to make my application stronger for next time and I think it'll be beneficial for me to retake Anatomy and get an A this time. I'll try at Rio and ELAC, but I already know for sure how hard it's going to be to make it into the class. Any other ideas?

Good for you! I'm glad one of us made it in. I give up FOR NOW, I'm making my application stronger for next time and next time I am applying into both programs.
