Most likely they will send out the acceptance/ rejection letters via US mail on May 15...or was it by May 15?

It's May 24 when I wrote this but I haven't gotten any letter yet. I thought about calling them to find out if they have send out the letter yet.

Sorry to hear that. It's happening to a lot of people. It isn't this competitive outside of LA. Which schools did you not get into? Yeah, the 5 bucks, I used a money order and sent it with the app. How many points do you have? They're sending decisions next week. I haven't heard anything but they called last week to ask me questions about my application.

Just called them again: She said we should start being notified by the END OF MAY BEGINNING OF JUNE. We are almost there guys! Keep those prayers going.

Thanks for the update :) good luck to all of us!

I didn't get into LACC, GCC, and CSULA. I think I have 79 points. I am waiting on PCC aside from County. I am happy with any program I get into at this point.

It's like that all over... I keep seeing that... A lot of people are not getting in..cc makes lots of money though so they don't care. I'm convinced it's not a lottery system.. I almost applied to GCC....I talked to the nursing counselor and asked if it's a lottery. she sort of laughed and implied that it wasn't...also, some of them ask for an essay. why do they want an essay if it's lottery? Anyway, keep trying.

At GCC they have a cut score which is pretty high. I know two people that got in with a 3.0 and 3.3 gpa. It's not a point based system. There is going to be a second lottery for alternates, but I wonder for how many spaces ? The lottery system is so unfair.

Yassssss chika!
