Hey, is there anyone who applied for Fall 2017 admission to LA County? Have you guys heard any news? has anyone called you? What are your thoughts?

Hey jason4546! I got an email from ------------------- to call her today. When I called her she said I got accepted into the program!!! I'm so excited!!! I'll see you at the registration this Saturday!! Praying for everyone!!!

This wait is killing me, especially to know some have already heard back from the school 🙁 I have not heard anything yet and have been checking mg emails and running to my mailbox daily *sigh*

imtoonice i noticed that your also on the Rio condo Fall 2017 board. I got accepted at Rio Hondo also but I'm also waiting on county. I did everything for Rio Hondo already what do you plan on doing if you also get accepted here??

I called the other day and they said that they just started reading the basic rn applications. I hope they're not going to be late with our admission decisions. Im just going to stop thinking about it. It's all good really. Anyway this plays out is fine.. I really don't mind doing 2 more gen Ed courses and reapplying with 90 points. Zzzzzzz . It must be really simple if they can do everything in a week. Just chill guys... LA has so many programs to choose from...smc, PCC pierce Glendale lacc, valley, Southwest, El Camino, Hondo, UCLA, Cal State, mount saint Mary, long beach i can't even name them all.you're all gonna take the same NCLEX so don't worry.. some programs... I've seen everyone who applied get in since some go to other programs... I couldn't care less anymore...I'm going to sleep..i scored in the 95th percentile in science on the teas. I got As in everything.deans list, president's list.... What more do they want? I did ma thang. And I'm tired as ****

If they wanna choose someone else go ahead. Zzzzz

I know we all wanna advance in life. Just take things slowly if u have to and be patient. I don't really care who they pick. Should any of us? Does it mean anything? There's 50 seats and 300 applications. Everyone's points are almost the same anyway

Thanks for the update! If they just started reading our applications, I doubt it that they will have an answer for us by the 15th. Good things come to those who wait so I'll keep on waiting for the good news :)

So I called today and a lady at the desk told me they'll be sending out notifications at the END of the month... :(

For the LVN to RN program, they told us we were suppose to be hearing back the week of the 24th. This is going to be 3 weeks on Monday, only a select few have heard back. I called today as well, and they stated they just sent out letters and we should hear something next week.

The only reason they tell everyone "at the end of the month" is so that people would stop calling them everyday lol. I'm sure the notices will be sent sooner than the end of the month.
