Any one here graduates of the program? Or are in the program?

I got a call from LA County this afternoon, and I got in too!!!! I'm so excited, I think I'm still in shock.

Congrats Studionurse! I'll see you there. Now you can go enjoy your vacation and not worry.

Willowita, congrats to you too! Having a back up is awesome. Worst case scenario is you start nursing school this fall. Hopefully you will get into county. Good luck, keep us posted. You will probably find out in the next month or so.

So any ideas when the generic ADNs will find out if they got in or not?

And has anyone gotten a dollar amount from FAFSA as far as how much you're expected to contribute and how much they'll give you? I feel like my application just went out into the void. I haven't been given any info.

I have not applied to FAFSA yet, and I don't know how we will be expected to contribute...

I may do that later this month.

Anyone else receive a phone call? I carry my work phone and my cell phone on me and I keep calling my personal phone to make sure its working and I can hear it loud and clear!This is like when I was pregnant and waiting for my water to break... the suspense is killing me!

I called yesterday and they said that letters will go out this week for LVN's not sure about the generic program.

Studionurse,

The deadline for California grants passed in March. I don't qualify for grants since I have a B.A., so I have to take a loan. But you can still qualify for the federal Pell grant. Deadline for that is June 30th so make sure you submit your FAFSA by then.

Also, some awards are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. So it's better to submit it sooner than later.
