I applied to 6 other schools. Got rejected by one so far but hopeful about the rest!

Hi, do not worry! If you got 82 points or higher on the point system you should be good to go! I called La County about 2 weeks ago and they said the cut off does not deviate as much from previous application cycles.

I will be talking to my employer and see how it goes...it seem like something may work out so I can go without working. I am keeping my fingers cross that everything works out.

This is the only school I applied to. LA County has always been my first choice, so hopefully I will be able to get in this summer. I am lacking the math class that most other schools require to apply. If I don't get into LA county this summer, I will take math (which I put off far too long) and probably apply to some other schools throughout the year, but I will for sure keep trying at county until I get in!

I dont think la county has math as a course that is needed for the program

I've been reading some old posts from people who applied (and got accepted) in 2010 and earlier... some of these posts said they found out they got accepted via a PHONE CALL! Does anyone know anything about this? Phone call, letter, email, I don't care, just tell me already!

I thought they only send letters out

When I took the TEAS test there one of the women proctoring the test said that when they send acceptance letters out that everyone would get a phone call and a letter. I don't know if she meant that only the people getting accepted would get a phone call and letter, or if she meant you would get a phone call in addition to the letter if you are denied as well. There are a lot of applicants, so that would be a lot of phone calls to tell people they didn't get in.

I could be totally wrong, but I assume they would only call people to tell them they got in.

the wait is killing me...so much emotions come that day i receive a letter in the mail from la county. or phone call..or e-mail, just anything to relieve my thoughts of whats next? this is a horrible wait.

Hey Kosmic (or anyone else), Would you happen to know the cutoff for the Lvns that would be starting in the summer?

Nope sry. When i got acceptance to take the teAs. It only told me the cut off for te generic students for fall 2011
