Any one here graduates of the program? Or are in the program?
Hey all-
I applied to LA County for Fall 2012, was invited to take the teas- just got results back- I think they look at the "adjusted individual total score"--- but not sure-- there are so many percentages and rankings on the report page! If they do I got 78.7%, which I think is 20 pts for LA cty (first time I took it- I was soooooo nervous!!!) and i'm pretty sure I have 65 point from the grades, which brings me to 85 total points.
I'm freaking out b/c I don't know what score on the teas they look at and have no idea what the cut off score will look like for Fall 2012- insanely competitive! I'm hoping for LA county, but applying just about everywhere else too just in case.
I feel like it would be a miracle if I got in!!!!
Also, does anyone know-- and this is a stupid question, but it's been a while since I went to the information session- so if the cut off score is say 85- and I got an 85, does that mean everyone 85 and below doesn't get in and 86 and higher automatically get in to the program?
Or if you get 86 and higher, do you then have to go thru additional testing or interviewing to get into the program, or are you just in?
Thanks, I'm a total newb!!
Hi, congrats on your teas. Lacc looks at the total adjusted score on the whole test. The cut off for the fall 2011 admissions was 82 points so looks like your in good standing with 85 points. As for the cut off, i think lacc rejects anyone lower than that amount of points. For example if you got 85 and the cut off was 85 you should be good

Still waiting. The deadline to submit TEAS scores is April 1st so I'm really hoping we start to hear something after that. But who knows how long it will take.
Has anyone heard anything from other schools they applied to? I got rejected by 1 but still hopeful about the other 6.
