Los Angeles County of Nursing - Fall 2014

This is for those of us that will be applying to LA county college of nursing and allied health's fall 2014 semester. I will be submitting my application for the basic RN program tomorrow... Yayyy!!! I am beyond excited, I can't believe this time has finally come!

That could definitely be the case of 82 being the cut off....They probably wanted to call all the people with 82 points first to see if we would accept or not. If enough of us say no, they will be forced to lower the cut off...VERY GOOD POINT!! high five!!!!

Combining Smylee and Allabout kitties: Thank you!!!! Yes, I am happy to know that I got accepted. I am firm with my decision to stick with COC. For a second while on the phone, I felt like the girl at the alter about to get married to COC and County comes along and says "don't marry COC, Marry County". AHHAHAHA. But I am at peace with it. I do not know if they are calling everyone or not. Maybe they only called me because my teas letter got lost in the mail so many times, they didn't know if I would actually receive any mail from them? LOL. Keep your phones on and KEEP ME POSTED!!!!

Lol... That must have been a good feeling though being wanted by two programs. If that theory is correct... I want to thank you, because I only have 78 points and maybe (prayerfully) I get a spot :) I'm just happy that notifications are actually starting, no matter what

Happens with me. My future is on hold until I know if I'm in or not. Once again congrats I couldn't be happier for you!!

Anyone? Anything? I'm thinking if they were calling yesterday for the people with 82 points, then that means they prob wouldn't have sent anything out yet...once they get their allotted amount of people, then they will most likely send letters. I wonder when you guys will find out...its killlllling meeeeee. LOL.

You can say that again! It's killing me too! I applied to County too and have been trying to avoid thinking about it but upon loggin on to AN and seeing the post about the phone call, Yikes! The time is actuallyu here. If anyone hears or receives anyword, please update!
