Nursing Students School Programs

Published

The application period for Los Angeles County Nursing Allied Health Spring 2021 is now open from Jun 15th - Jul 15th!

I applied today but I am waiting to send in my TEAS and Transcripts until I hear from 3 more schools for fall2020.

Who else is applying for Spring 2021?

Specializes in Nursing.

For those who got accepted congradulation. would like to share what kind of interview questions you got? Thank you in advance

We didn't have interviews because of covid. Sorry for not being able to help, but I imagine it must be questions about why you want to be a nurse and why do you want to attend Conah. Best of luck.

Thank you so much. The interview has two tests oral communication and written skills. I hope so. Thank you once again.

Much appreciated friend ?

Hello, I know this is an old forum. But I was wondering if anybody can just state whether this school is great? Or if theres any issues? etc... I just got accepted into the Spring 2022 program and im nervous about whats to come. Was wondering how yall are doing so far? and if the program is tough? Also if there is any advice to give, id surely take it. THANK YOU and I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving week.

Hello, one of my friend graduated from this program and he told me it is hands on clinical. What worked for him is that he was able to work in groups. practicing more even if you don't have clinicals and asking questions ( the instructors). Please prepare for the dosage calculation at the beginning of every semester. We got this. If you study and prepare ahead of time you are going to do it for sure. Surround your self with students that work hard and are dedicated.

This school is amazing. I learned so much in the program. Compared to other new grads when I first started working as RN, I felt I had way more hands on experience than nurses from other schools. Not gonna lie though, this program is challenging but you will be prepared for NCLEX and for working in the real world.

I graduated 4 years ago and do not regret going to this school. I recommend this school to anyone that will listen to me LOL. My advice would be don't fall behind, ask questions, and make sure you take advantage of exam reviews. Not sure if they still have that because of COVID but when I went to school you could review the answers for exams you had so you can see what you got wrong and you can focus on improving that. Also participate on any extracurricular activities if possible because it will get you more involved and dedicated to the program.

Thank you so much to both of you for the helpful input! Just got me even more excited to just begin this program and kill it!
