Hello I am applying to LAC Allied School of Nursing for the Fall 2013 semester ADN program. I was wondering if any body else is applying to this school for the fall 2013 semester or if there is anybody that currently attends or has attended this school that has any advice or opinions about this school. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

Yes, I applied right after the application period started. You know, i was never notified, either way; no mail, no email, no returned phone calls. So I gave up and applied to Southwest and got right in!

Hi songiecookie,

Sorry it took me so long to respond to you! The only study books I use are the study guides that are published for each textbook (they will be on the booklist for the school). Last semester I used Davis' Med-Surg Success and didn't find it that useful.

Called county today and they confirmed that letters will be going out at the beginning of next week

I just got a letter telling me I wasn't eligible to take the TEAS, it was dated on the 13th of May, but sent out Tuesday.

But it's all good - I got in somewhere else!

I didn't even calculate them. It had been so long I had forgotten all about the school till I got the letter. I think I barely had a 3.0

Just curious, did any of you apply to the LVN to RN program? I'm going into 3rd semester in the fall and you'll be joining my class!

Hi everyone, I'm new to AN. I have applied to LA county, and as most of you, am patiently waiting to hear back. Today a friend of mine who also applied for the Fall program, said she got a rejection letter last week. I'm hoping this means if we haven't heard from them it's a good thing..:nailbiting:
