Los Angeles County Allied School of Nursing

Published

Hello I am applying to LAC Allied School of Nursing for the Fall 2013 semester ADN program. I was wondering if any body else is applying to this school for the fall 2013 semester or if there is anybody that currently attends or has attended this school that has any advice or opinions about this school. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

I am anxiously awaiting for word from County. So is county as good as they say?

From what I hear, they are. They have really good pass rates for NCLEX, that's for sure. I know that County employees have good benefits.

Hi tgcid00,

I just called County and they said letters should start going out the END of May! Ugh, this waiting is driving me crazy. Congrats on LATTC!

Willowita,

I had a question for you. What type of supplemental study books do you use, if you do? I was debating on buying the ATI ,Kaplan, Saunders, etc.

Thank you for this information songiecookie. I was going to call them on the 15th of this month if I had not heard anything from them. As Willowita said they are on County time. LOL well I guess it is just more waiting for us :( .

Till the end of may?!? Noooooooo! :(

I retook English class and improved my grade from C to B. Does anyone know how many repeats LA County allow and will they accept the B?

I believe they take the highest grade regardless of attempts but you should call and ask.

I called and you are right! Thank you.:D

I decided to call County today and ask to see if acceptance letters have been sent out yet but they told me they wouldn't be sent out till the beginning of June :(

June?!?!?!? Oh no! What happened to May?

Good luck you guys! I didn't get into LA County (wasn't even invited to take the TEAS). :blackeye:

However, I got into Los Angeles Southwest College - took the TEAS on May 9th and was notified on May 14th!

So excited for all of us on this journey!
