I got 75.3%. I did super horrible on the reading section that it dragged my overall score down so much:(. Oh well, at least I got that 5 extra points for getting higher than 75%, haha. Since I took it with LA County, do I still have to send my results to LA County?

RE: Los Angeles County Nursing Prog.

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post. I was wondering if someone from LA County can give me some input. I applied for Fall 2013; I scored an 80% on TeasV and have a total of 88 points. Is that good enough to be accepted? This has been a long road for me and the wait is driving me crazy.

Thank you.

@Atoms That score is good. If you registered the TEAS with LA county the scores are available to them automatically

@ songiecookie with 88 points you should get in with no problem. Congratulations on getting 88 pts that's an awesome score. I have 85 but the school said the average is 83

Hello! This is my first time commenting on this thread. I have also applied for the Fall 2013 year. I was wondering if anyone can tell me when the last day to send transcripts was. I sent my transcript for my second attempt back in February and realized that I did not send in my score for my first attempt which was higher than 75%. I really want to get those 5 bonus points!

Also, I took all my prereqs at SFSU and they count science lectures and labs separately for grading. So I received two different grades for each science course, one for lecture and one for lab. How would my grades be averaged out? For example, If I were to get a B in Physio Lecture and an A in Physio Lab, what grade would they consider for my Physio class?

@Nessa I was told that the last day to send transcripts for TEAS was the last day of march but you should call them and explain your situation they are very nice over the phone. Also I read on a post of a different thread that they average the grade between lab and lecture but you should call them for specifics. Hope it all works out for you.

Thank you tgcid00!

:nailbiting:I am so anxious! You really think I should get in with 88pts? I'm thinking of volunteering at a Hospital to earn an extra point just in case I don't get accepted so when I re-apply for next semester I'll have 90. 1 for re-applying + 1 for volunteering. Ugh. I'm so stressed.

Did you apply to any other schools or just this one?

My first choice is allied but I applied to two other colleges as well hopefully we get into allies though

The minimum points for my admitted class was 84 points. And even then, there were students who were accepted at the last minute because others gave up their spots. So 88 points should be all good. County sends out admission letters wayyyyyy later than most other schools. So don't freak out if it's the end of May and you still haven't heard anything. They're on County time. :)

Hi Willowita!

I've been reading a lot of your posts! Thanks for letting me know about the points for your class. I know its extremely competitive so I can't be too sure, but thanks again for the info.

Talk to you soon.
