Hello I am applying to LAC Allied School of Nursing for the Fall 2013 semester ADN program. I was wondering if any body else is applying to this school for the fall 2013 semester or if there is anybody that currently attends or has attended this school that has any advice or opinions about this school. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

I bought most, if not all, of my books through amazon. I bought their prime membership which includes free 2 day delivery. I know the school recommends the USC bookstore but their prices are a bit higher than amazon's.

Well they do financial aid for this program but in my case i don't qualify so i will be doing the tuition deferment and just pay out of pocket.

They didn't mention we would need one. I would just get a stethoscope and the other materials they told us we would need. Of course if you want to get a bp cuff i don't think it would hurt to have one.

Has everyone turned in their financial aid paper work and the other paper work? Has anyone recieved the paper work they said they would send out in mid July lol? Can't wait to start!!

I called and first they told me they had just started sending the live scan stuff out and about a week later (yesterday) i called again and they said they haven't sent any live scan stuff yet. So I'm guessing they haven't sent anything out as no one has said they have received anything yet .

I picked up my uniforms from County today and they look great :).

They didn't inform me. I went in to turn in some financial aid stuff and just passed by the admissions office and asked them about my uniforms. If you ordered them online by the time they specified they will already have your uniform available. Its a good thing I got them too because mines were too big.

I would love some feedback....I have 84 points and 76 for teas ...do i have a chance ? I know it kinda depends on the applicant pool .

I'd say you have a good chance of getting accepted. That's just my take though.
