Looking For NCLEX-RN tutor (NYC AREA)

I am a recent graduate nurse with previous failure upon taking the NCLEX-RN. I'm looking for a tutor, someone with experience with NCLEX to help me to reach my goal to pass. I'm located in the Nyc area. Please respond if you can help. Thanks.

Same here. I have been using the Saunder's book, but I am also willing to start/join a study group in the NYC area. I am also a repeater and I know it is helpful to have a group of people to work with who would keep you honest and accountable when the tv/the dog/kids/family problems steps in front of studying. Any takers?

Sorry but the NCLEX exam and the Saunders have very little in common. I too believe that a group study would be beneficial not exceeding 4 or 5 people though. There are tutors in the NYC area that charge the same as the budget of a small third world country and that's just ludicrous. I'm still looking for some help though, I'm kinda desperate at this point.

Good luck in finding a tutor. Keep on answering questions and studying the rationales while you look for a group study situation.

I'm aware of a company called Med School Tutors which offers reliable private NCLEX tutoring. My friend used them last year and said they were "terrific." Let me know if you try them out. Best of luck.

Try Kaplan online, even though it's hard it prepares you for NCLEX. They even give you a book and I have to say it that if you do ended up taking Kaplan (a review class), you must be willing to put an extra effort. I took Kaplan on June and studied the content from the Kaplan book for a month, and did the question as well from Saunders 4th edition cd.
