Failed the Nclex!!!
I took Kaplan in June and studied for a month and a half. esp the content from Saunders and Kaplan book. I really really focused on the content because I knew I was very weak in the content. I also used Lacharity prioritization, delegation, and assigment book. I only got 5 meds and 2-3 sata and passed with 75 questions. If I can do it, then you can do it too. I almost failed the peds in nursing school and my ati predictor was 48% first try to pass Nclex. Even I couldnot focus, I still studied the day before the test. I will highly recommened Kaplan, it's worthed the price. KNow your content!!!

Kaplan NCLEX-RN: Online or Classroom?
I took Kaplan classroom session ans also had access to online videos for the content and questions ( including the questions they go over in the class). From my personal experience, the difference between the online and classroom is that sometimes, the clssroom teacher explains the materail more in detail. I would highly recommend Kaplan. Even though the questions are harder than the real Nclex, Kaplan really prepaperd me.

Need Encouragement
My school did the ATI and my predictor was 48%, but took kaplan and some content from saunders 4th edition and really focused on the content. My test stopped at 75, thought Nclex was very easy. But I did prepare myself for a month and a half for the exam. I know alot of people were like do as many qustions as u can, but I actually focused on the content and did the questions. This way my qtrainers scores statred going up as well. I would def. recommend to know your content, it really helps u on nclex even with the priority questions as well. I only got 5 meds and 4-5 sata questions on nclex. Compared to my friends whose ATI predictor was really high (around 80's and 90's) got stopped at 85 and 163. Know your content. Definitely recommend Kaplan. even though it's hard it prepares you for Nclex. Good luck

Looking For NCLEX-RN tutor (NYC AREA)
Try Kaplan online, even though it's hard it prepares you for NCLEX. They even give you a book and I have to say it that if you do ended up taking Kaplan (a review class), you must be willing to put an extra effort. I took Kaplan on June and studied the content from the Kaplan book for a month, and did the question as well from Saunders 4th edition cd.

Please Help: A Few Nclex Questions...:(
I know how you must be feeling. Before I took mine (august 26) I used to ask my friends of what they thought of the exam and read many many blogs trying to find out how I should prepare for Nclex. I took Kaplan and my qbank scores weren't that great either. It was around 50's. I finished the whole kaplan book except the psych section. Studied infection control and focused on some content in Saunders.I found nclex way easier than Kaplan. I have to say if you do Kaplan questions and content, you will find nclex easy. I was stopped at 75, got 5 meds and 2-3 sata and Passed. When my computer shut off at 75, I said to myself they must be kidding me with all these nclex questions. I know my friends got 10-15 meds and a lot of sata. Mine was completely different, I found Nclex very easy. May be I was way preapred than I thought I was (used to cry at night, and even ask my bf if he was going to think I was a loosed if I didnot pass). Belive me it doesnot matterhoe many meds or sata question, it all depends on how well you are answering the question. out of 5 meds I only got one med that I didnot know, but it was very easy to figure out. KNOW YOUR CONTENT!!!

NCLEX help
I took my Nclex yesterday and i just found out today that I Passed!!! I took Kaplan on July and did some review from saunders. While I was taking the test, i thought it was very easy. I know when u read all the blogs u do not know who to believe, but I have to say believe in yourself. I prepared for a month, I was not "A" student in nursing school and even peds clsss I barely passed. I was very weak in all the content, so I actually finished the whole kaplan book, and also reviwed some content from saunders. May be I prepared myself too much, that's why it felt like the test was easy. I knew that by looking at the number of questions, was going to make me panic. So, I put my locker key to block the number of questions that I was on. Around #57 I took a break, and after working on (donot know exactly) around 35 more mins, my screen stopped. I knew either I messed up really bad or did very good. But serioulsy the whole key thing worked for me. I tried the locker key method bcoz while i was talking the kaplan 265 qtrainer, I was getting very nervous so i put a piece of paper in front of the number of question and i was relaxed after that. U can try that.
