Long Hour Shifts..HELP!

i am writing a paper and i was wondering if yal could give me some advantages on working long hour shifts. i am talking about the controversy and i have disadvantages i just need some advantages. thanks!!!! greatly appreciated:rolleyes:

With 12 hour shifts you only work 3 shifts a week- good for people who cant work 5 days a week because of kids/family.

one big advantage is the time off between shifts!! sometimes its like a holiday!!
