U.S.A. California

Published

Hi! I’m creating this thread for people to ask questions and post updates for any new grad apps to Long Beach Memorial or Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital!

@_JaredJD Have you heard back? My status changed yesterday to “completed”.

@gameoftonesRN I got rejected/declined for surgical nights and still under consideration for days

So completed means you weren’t picked/considered, correct?

Hey everyone! Did anyone figure out what "completed" ended up meaning?

Hello! I got a job offer at Long Beach Medical Center for the new grad program on float unit. If anyone has any insight or experience about being a new grad on float unit, please share. It would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello ? Little late congrats for you! I applied on Oct 12, status updated on 20th saying "under consideration." Haven't received any email for an interview yet, just waiting!

Just want to know how's your float pool experience been going so far & tips/types of questions you had during the interview if you can give me any advice??? Much appreciation for your reply!!

I believe it means your submission is completed & you can't edit your submission, and to be honest it means nothing/not selected unless it changed into "under consideration" status.

My status for Float unit at LBMC changed "under consideration" on Oct 20th - applied on Oct 12th. Haven't received any emails yet. Other positions are updated as "Completed." All memorial care (LBMC, Saddleback, OC, Fountain valley) submission status will be changed into Rejected/Declined or Completed if not selected. I applied for tons of positions months before having my license and got rejected for all of them LOL, but based on my experience status update patterns are:

--> "Submission received" right after submitting the application

--> Changed to "Completed" status: can't edit submission

--> "Rejected/Declined" or remained "Completed" if not selected

One of them did not even change into "completed" status; applied in June, remained under "submission received" as of today LOL ? Hope this helps!

I received an email to interview for float pool about 3 days ago. My interview is next week, so they must be sending out more invites!

Hi there! I just wanted to ask for the recruiter's email or contact info if that's okay. I have applied in October for a float pool at LBMC.     Status changed to under consideration on 10/20, nothing has been changed since then.

Haven't received any phone calls or emails regarding the interview process, and was hard time finding the recruiter's email information. If you can let me know, or anyone else see my post, I would appreciate it so much!!!

Does anyone have any idea when their application cycle might be?
