Long Beach Memorial Care/Miller Children’s August 2020 NEW GRAD RN

U.S.A. California

Hi! I’m creating this thread for people to ask questions and post updates for any new grad apps to Long Beach Memorial or Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital!

Hi y’all! Any updates for mother baby or any other units? I saw on facebook that someone got an interview for float pool!

Does anyone know what their "Submission Status" means? By this thread, it seems like there is confusion among everyone. I filled out several applications for LBMC. One says "Completed", one says "under consideration", and the others simply says "received". If any one can break it down for us, I would appreciate it.

Specifically, does "completed" come after "under consideration" or before?

Mine says the exact same thing! I assume "Received" is the first step, then "Under Consideration", and "Completed" means I was not selected. Someone on fb said they got a call for a float pool interview. Can anyone find an HR phone number or email to follow up with?

Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone! ?

Mine actually said completed this morning then changed to under consideration. Yours was the opposite ?

Has anyone else heard back yet? Mine still says "Under Consideration" for float pool.

Does anyone have the number or email to their a recruiter?

Woah, yeah mine was the opposite! Strange!

Hi everyone! I noticed that my mother baby application was changed to completed as of today. Don’t know what that means.

me too ? mine went from received to completed

Has anyone heard of anyone getting interviews for any of the units? Wound care, float poot, ortho/neuro?

I know one person got an interview with float. But all the other units look like they haven't review the applications yet.

I haven’t heard anything aside from that one float pool interview. I applied to mother baby and my application went from received to completed, hopefully other units start reaching out some time this week

I received an email to interview for float pool about 3 days ago. My interview is next week, so they must be sending out more invites!

Mine says completed too and I'm wondering the same thing! The only time I've had that happen before was when I was contacted for an interview, which hasn't happened for this position. Let's hope it's a good sign! ?

Hello everyone!
Just wanna share my experience:
6/24/20 I applied for the New Grad Float pool position at LBMMC

7/4 Got an invitation to interview

7/14 interview date. Lasted 15mins? Not sure how it went. I like to think it went well haha?

Now my status says: “under consideration and the last time it was updated was 6/29” To this date, still the same status.

I got another interview the next day 7/15 at my local community hospital and today they give me an offer (7/16). Has not responded. Waiting to hear from Long Beach...

Does anybody know the time frame? I asked this during my interview I was nervous to even remember if the nurse manager says “one week” or “one month”

Thanks! Good luck to all of us!! :)
