Long Beach City College (LBCC) ADN Spring 2024

Hi everyone! I just submitted my application for Spring 2024! Hoping that we can connect through this forum!

Just as an fyi: for the life equivalency form, you can just attach the unsigned copy to the application - you do not have to get it signed by Marc prior to submission. I emailed him and he said that due to the high volume of requests, he will be reviewing them with our application.

Can we submit multiple times or only one submission for every application period?

Hello! I just applied too! this is my third time haha. I did apply to other ADN programs as well. I always apply to LBCC as a "you never know" kinda thing. but I am still hoping to get in. Im on an alternate list at Saddleback. so fingers crossed.

has anyone applied to any other schools?

yes, I'll be applying to about 15 schools in total! I already graduated from csulb with my bachelor's degree, so I'm hoping to get into either CSUN or CSUSM's ABSN program. but I really just hope that I get in somewhere!

Do yall know when do we expect to hear back from them?

Has anyone got a denial letter or notification that they will be moving on to the next round of applicants?

Nope. I haven't got anything yet as of now. Does anyone heard back from

Not yet. Based on last year's Spring cohort, we should hear back soon regarding if we made it to the final round or not. It looked like they heard back during this week last year (August 16th-18th). Sounds like they pick about 300 applicants to move forward to the final round.

After making it to the final round, they will inform us of an admissions decision within about 8 weeks. Last year it was around October.

Once we start getting emails soon we can update here ?

Has anyone got emails from them yet?

I haven't got any emails yet.

Anything yet ?
