Hello everyone! Today is the first day to apply at LBCC ADN Spring 2023 and I wanted to create the forum so we can share our status a long the way. & not miss out on any important emails/dates.

Best of luck to us!

Hi thanks for creating this forum! I applied as well.

Best of luck to everyone ??

3rd time applicant here ? What did you guys include for your supporting documents? I don't remember what I included last time around, copies of transcripts, life science equivalency forms and course descriptions for that form I think. Am I missing anything?

Same here 3rd time applying ☺️ For my supporting documents I only attached my transcripts and Associates degree that I earned for biological sciences. I didn’t need to do the life sciences since I completed all my courses at LBCC. Are you ladies only applying at LBCC?

Oh thats nice you got everything in at LBCC, so much simpler, I had to spread my pre-reqs over 3 schools, where ever I could get into the classes. Applying to Golden West, LBCC, Santa Ana, Cypress, and maybe El Camino (still trying to figure out of they accept fall apps for Spring as everything online is still Spring application dates). How about you?

I attached my high school diploma plus my LBCC transcripts since I did everything with them?
I’m applying to LBCC, Santa Ana, Rio Hondo, Cal State LB and Fullerton.
I haven’t taken the TEAS so I missed the deadline for other schools to apply?

That’s nice! I haven’t taken the TEAS either so I’m only applying to LBCC and CSUF since most schools require it. I’ll be taking 2 additional courses for El Camino College so I could apply to their program as well but that won’t be until Spring time, so hopefully all goes well with LBCC or CSULB/CSUF for their Fall Semester and I won’t need those classes. Then I just found out that Cerritos College doesn’t require the TEAS either so I’ll be applying next year with them as well. It’s best to keep our options open since it’s so competitive.

Heyy I'm looking to apply to other nursing programs. Do you know if Rio Hondo and Santa Ana require official or unofficial transcripts? I'm taking a Chemistry class for csulb this fall so I'm worried I may not be eligible to apply for the application dates coming up. Or should I wait till I completely finish my classes and apply the next application period?

Good luck to everyone! After we submit the application and get a confirmation email that it's been sent, does the confirmation email come with a copy of the documents we sent? Mine didn't and I just want to make sure my documents made it through!

No, unfortunately that email does not show us the documents that were submitted.

Hello, first-time applicant here! I submitted my application today for the RN program. According to the confirmation email, it says selections will be made in 6-8 weeks. Is that to let us know if we moved on to the next round for further screening or is it to notify the final candidates? Thanks!

Hello! Yes the next email we will receive will either be a denial or an email saying we are moving to the second phase. Last semester I was one of the 1,000 students that did not receive an email at all due to a system glitch. So I am hoping that does not happen this time around ??.
