Anyone applying?
Good luck to you as well. Im glad I found this site so I can talk to others going through the same thing! Hesi was not too bad. They actually saved my scores from last January when I took it just to practice- I did not have to repeat it. I found that all the English and the math sections are VERY Similar to the study guide... but the A&P is the only slighlty difficult part- you have to remember things from class.. and I did okay on it but, it was not like the study guide to me.. it was a lot of remembering from class. It has been a while since I took it but, a lot of the questions are easy like "what part of the body is the Ulna located in?" You have choices like a) leg b)arm c)chest d)spine .... Those questions were pretty easy but then there are some about muscles and hormones and stuff that you really just had to know from A & P 1 and 2. I think everyone will do fine though. You will be suprised what you remember from class!! Good luck to everyone. Is anyone else nervous about their letters coming next month?? I am!
Yeah, that will be good to not have to wait too long. I applied back in the beginning of July so.. I have just been trying to keep myself busy with other things. The website says we should hear results in September but, from reading these other posts it looks like we may have to wait until the first week of October because they always get sent out late.. Im glad I have a class that starts on August 29th because that will keep me distracted..
I'm taking a summer class that doesn't end until next Friday, so I'm resending my transcript AGAIN to them. Hopefully all of my classes will be entered into the system in time.
Does anyone know if we must have our CPR card before we apply? I'm getting my second Hepatitis B shot on Monday. Fun Fun.
I just talked to two other people that made the same score as me (11.7796) and a few that have made HIGHER than that. Getting a little nervous. I felt like my score was really well and I would get in for sure.. but, starting to worry a little now because it seems like everyone has good scores this time around. What was everyones score on here?

Yes I took the hesi at lonestar Kingwood. I took it in Febuary and didn't pass the A&P portion. I then bought A&P for dummies and it really helped me a lot. The vocabulary and math portions are the same as the Evolve reach admission assessment book. Thats the only book I used for vocabulary and I made a 98. They do give you scratch paper and a calculator and you should know your conversions. Overall I didn't think it was too bad. Just take your time on the reading portion. If you have the evolve reach book its a good idea to go over the hesi hints in the reading section. I hope this helps. I will be happy to answer anymore questions you may have.
