Lonestar Spring 2012 Hopefuls

Anyone applying?

Actually, that was the only class that I signed up for in the Fall. It was an online class. I'm shocked that they would make you sign up for the class along with Bio 2402. Strange. I imagine that they noticed there were many that signed up for RNSG 1301, and decided to put restrictions. Who knows...

This message is for everyone worried about their overall points. I was in cafeteria last week at Cy-fair and saw two ADN students and asked them what semester they were in. One of them said 1st semester and I asked her what their lowest cut off scores were, she said in the high 10's. She said it was because of the new sections of the hesi test, the scores were lower than usual. I hope this info helps and puts some of your worries at ease. God bless us all :saint::saint::saint:

Careangel...i went to turn in my application and like an idiot told her i had the booster....so she said she needs proof. I didnt think we had to show proof of immunity unless we were accepted but she wouldnt take my application without the titer. So I believe I will just go tomorrow and turn in my original records and not say anything about it. Thank you for the idea...I do wish I had read it yesterday when I was stressing so bad lol. Thanx so much

Katy busy mom...I pray the department can make an exception and accept your micro credit...try to stay positive!!! Hope it all works out

@bluzbet,

Thanks so much for that encouraging news!!! And I wish the best to all who are having challenges getting their applications submitted. Stress does not feel good and then to be racked with disappointment. DO NOT GIVE UP!!! It is just a test that will make you stronger for something else you will encounter in the future! I am a believer!!!!!

@ katybusymom and prayerful.....I am so sorry for your situations. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you both of you! I hope it all works out in the end.

Oh I so hope it is the same situation this semester as I only have an 11.3062!!! Thanks for the info, I have some hope:yeah:

The advisor at cy-fair told me that she did not know the last application cut-off score for cy-fair, but previously it had been 11.3 so either way AllinKnots you have a better shot than me by only 0.0594. Competition is tough! Come on be October already!!! The suspense is harsh.....

How many of you are applying with Kingwood as your first choice? If accepted, will be choosing the night program?

Oh and a little encouragement for everyone hoping and praying! I'm sure all of you have experienced obstacles on the road to RN so the next time an obstacle appears remember....Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all. -Dale Carnegie

It is sooooo competitive!!! I hope we all make it and I'm with you, I want October to be here already!!!! The mailman is probable going to think I am nuts!!! :eek:

Thehopeful, we have the same score (11.59) and I also applied to cyfair and kingwood. It's nice to know that there is someone else in the same situation as me . I'll be rooting for us both!
