I just applied to the Lonestar Cyfair ADN nursing program for the Spring of 2018. I haven't seen anything on here about hopefuls for Spring 2018, anyone else apply?

What's you're score? I'm currently a 6.95 but I am going to retake my Hesi and A&P to get a higher score. I also think my main choice will be kingwood since they offer more slots.
I have a 7.696 and only applied to Cyfair because I am not willing to drive all the way to Kingwood. I heard they accept 80 at kingwood and 40 at cyfair, but I am not sure. Good luck on retaking the HESI and A&P!

So it seems like every testing session is closed.... I'm trying to take the HESI so I'm worried. Do y'all know what I can do or if I can take it elsewhere?
Hello everyone,I'm starting the application but currently I have a 7.52. I am not sure if that is good enough to get in to Lone star Cyfair.

I believe you have a really high chance of getting in.
What jobs can you do while going to nursing g school?
I currently work full time in accounting, but I will have to quit my job once I get in the program. They recommend you don't work full time while doing the nursing program. I might look for something part time just to help my husband with the bills.
Hello! I will be applying as well. Two of my courses will be at the 5 year mark pharm and micro but hopefully it won't affect me getting in. I take my hesi in two weeks and I am really nervous. What are you guys using to study for the hesi?
I downloaded the Hesi pocket prep app, and just studied from there. I am good at math and reading so I didn't study for those subjects, my only worry was A&P, so I took the HESI right after finishing my A&P1 class and it did help, I got a 92.
Hi! This is my first post and decided to register so I can keep in touch with fellow, future RNs!I also applied for LSC CyFair for Spring 2018. Fingers crossed that I get in!!I am excited and nervous since I am a single mother and hear that classes and clinicals are time consuming. But I know IT CAN BE DONE!!I wish everyone luck!!

Hey guys! I submitted my online application with a 7.728 score. I only applied to the Kingwood campus. I really hope I get accepted! Do any of you guys know when they send out acceptance letters?
I'm sure you'll get in with that score. They will probably start sending the emails towards the end of September.

I was told 2nd or 3rd week of September, they email you through your lonestar email account. So keep an eye on that one. :)
Only 8 days until application deadline!!! We are getting close.......

Thanks! Right back at cha! I applied with a 7.568.
I think your chances are extremely high! We might be in the program together! :) I am also having some worries (financially mainly), but I also believe it can be done.
