I just applied to the Lonestar Cyfair ADN nursing program for the Spring of 2018. I haven't seen anything on here about hopefuls for Spring 2018, anyone else apply?
What jobs can you do while going to nursing g school?
I do CNA night shifts, it allows me to do 47 hours a week while doing my homework on the clock. The hours are good and I could just trade days with another nurse assistant as long as I give notice that week, sometimes they can switch me off the schedule within 30 mins. Its also a bonus to work with care giving or CNA work because when you graduate and get your RN they tend to hire you on as a nurse because you have done good work with them already.
I used quizlet app, it has every subject that will be on the exam from the eye, ears, bones, joints, arteries and veins, the brain, hormones, organ system, cranial nerves, grammar, math, reading comprehension, and especially vocabulary! The app even has practice exams and matching quizzes. I studied for only 2 weeks from the app and made a 86 on the exam. I probably should have studied a little longer, but the app helped me do some damage in just 2 weeks lol
Thank you..... I will be looking at that as well. I have to score really high.
Hi! This is my first post and decided to register so I can keep in touch with fellow, future RNs!
I also applied for LSC CyFair for Spring 2018. Fingers crossed that I get in!!
I am excited and nervous since I am a single mother and hear that classes and clinicals are time consuming. But I know IT CAN BE DONE!!
I wish everyone luck!!
So guys, tell me why I retook AP II and still ended up with a C. I give up, I can't keep doing this to myself! I've taken 7 classes this semester because I'm concurrently enrolled in a BS in Health program and ended up with 2 A's, 2 B's , 2 C's, and a D! I refuse to take AP II again; however, I will have to retake micro lab because a D won't transfer Word of advice; never take micro lecture/lab, AP II, pharmacology, and other miscellaneous classes in the summer time!
I need some help deciding whether I should retake my Hesi this end of the month. I have an A in English and a B in both AP I and AP II. My hesi score left me at a low 6.86 due to my B in AP. I scored somewhat high on my HESI but, I'm afraid of failing a portion and not being able to apply at all. I hear that they won't even consider anything below a 7.
