Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

It doesn't sound like many of us picked Saturday clinicals. I thought they sent us the book list with titles and stuff?!? I'm waiting on the book store because I want the bundle but I think I have the list.

well yea they gave us a list but the bookstore does not have those books

I do not know....Saturdays are the chance I get to be with my babies. If I do not get time with my babies than I am not a functioning person.

But it is something to most def consider nurseprince

I'm sorry Jenn I must have misunderstood you about not being able to do a weekday clinical because of childcare on campus. Because the clinicals are all day.

No you are fine....I thought that Friday clinicals would of been a problem but the school daycare said it was okay my son is there when I am at clinicals.....My mom is going to have to drop him off and pick him up those days since school daycare is only 7-4.....

Nurseprince----so is clinicals really that long in one day.....I was just hoping they put those times to show that we may be possibly have any of those times in that range...

did anyone notice that the book list they gave us by email awhile back stated spring 2013??

also r y'all only purchasing books that say required or any of you getting some of those recommended books....I ask because it looks as though there is a lot of recommended books and I am not sure if any of them r going to really useful or not.

so how many books total should we have? I thought at orientation she said that the book package was only about 90% of our books.

If anyone knows that would awesome

what do we do at clinicals... How many breaks do we get if anybody knows???

Sorry but I have a whole bunch of questions.....That is why I am soooooo glad I have you guys

right now it looks like I am able to take the books and order them online...The bookstore says they are offering 20%off.....

I am counting 9 required textbooks....if someone gets a different number please inform

oh and the 20% off ends today....I think I am going to go ahead and purchase the books even though it says backordered and I think I am going to go ahead and treat myself to a tablet for school....I don't have one ....Merry Christmas to me!!!!!
