lonestar nursing 2014 hopeful

Published

Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

We had 3 classes. Lecture, lab and clinical. I wouldn't call it "hard", it's just a lot of reading and studying!!! I MEAN A WHOLE LOT!!! You have to want to put in the long hours of reading and studying for the tests and on top of that we have quizzes we have to take and pass before each exam. Organization is a big thing for me because when I first started I was so unorganized. They hit us with a lot of material and I have papers all over the place. I'm more organized now and it helps!!!

I got am classes with Friday clinicals so I got the sched. I wanted!! :)))

Kingwood students: can one of yall post your schedule so I can see what its like e?

Jen, let me know what the director says. I purposely stayed away from weekday clinicals for this very reason.

I emailed her and told her about class and clinicals and she said that is fine

well did we get to pick what day we wanted for clinicals....I just remember if you wanted weekends or not....Does anyone know if the times are right for that as well.....Just seems soooo long

tlm, is your child going to Kid Care as well? I took my son there today so he could see his classroom....H

Did anyone request Friday clinicals an evening classes?

I have evening classes and thursday clinicals.

Okay guys most of us have our schedules now....time to relax and enjoy the rest of our break before school starts up again

Momma D-----I am sure of it that you will hear something soon...I know it

I have evening classes and thursday clinicals.

I have Thursdays too:)

Thanks JennJenn... I have a good feeling too, I hope that it isn't just gas!
