Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

I left the cna (no experience) and the Tomball integrity ones incomplete on our checklist. I keep getting notifications that they need to be done. Is anyone else having that happen?

Yes. I get the same email, but I would think it is not a concern if you are not enroll long in the Tomball program.

We were told by v that u need to go ahead and do the tomball and the CNA. It ask u if you are a CNA or not that's all. I am not so I just put no and that was it.. I did both of them already

Thanks. She literally just sent me an email saying to leave it be. I'm going to do it I think. I'm afraid it will cause problems if I don't. I'm ready to be in class and down the road from this part of the process.

I did them both so they say complete.
I don't know why she would say for me to do it and than tell others the opposite..hmmmm
I just did them. I just did not want a problem come December 2nd.

Just do everything on that list. Is better to do it and not need vs the other way. Its simple and easy to complete :-D

Have any alternates heard anything from either campus?

No not yet, I would expect to see posting about it after the date all our stuff is due. I was accepted to the LVN at kingwood and never called to turn it down because I was unsure. It took Valerie calling me to double check if I was going or not. That was for the intent letter, so I figure it will come after the due date when she is going through all the accepted peoples things. Not to rush time but I want December to get here already. I talk to the BON and they said I should get my card in the mail this week.
Yeah, I figured the same thing. When December 2nd hits you will probably start hearing alternates being asked to accept a spot...There is probably a couple of accepted students who do not plan on attending and just do not bother with letting the nursing department know about it, figuring they will find out soon enough....That is just my opinion
how many alternates are there for Kingwood?
